Overall Views on TechBridge's NextGen Model
TechBridge visited our office. The first thing was the cost which was really attractive!
We’re a small company, sometimes we have to engage a traditional agency, but their placement fee is very high. Of course, their talent pool is different as well.
For a small business like ours, the main attraction was cost! USD2K when we started, as well as the promotion TechBridge had on offer was great...We are a small business and have a limited budget!
We were able to explore more candidates even though we only wanted to hire one initially. If you really like the candidate and think they’ll be a good fit without company in terms of expectations, you can hire them. That’s what I really like about the model!

In terms of the benefits using TechBridge, of course it’s cost related. But it’s per role. So, you can hire as many candidates as you like. With the Japanese speaking candidate for instance, we only wanted to hire one initially. But we also hired a short-term candidate for 3 months. We see the CV and based on the quality we received in a hard to recruit market, we hired the candidate on a short-term basis. And of course, there are no extra charges!
Another benefit is that we can also keep the CV even though the campaign has ended. Even if the campaign closed, we could still keep the candidate’s details on record
I can contact the candidate directly; this was useful when it came to speaking with hard to find people. I liked that I could speak with the candidate already at the point. The communication with the team was good, but with the candidate, it was great to discuss the process in real time.
Re the Japanese candidate we recently hired. I didn't think they’d be able to supply me with any Japanese speaking candidates. But surprisingly, I was impressed that they were able to penetrate the Japanese speaking market for us.
